Key responsibilities include sourcing and procuring raw materials, equipment, and services required for manufacturing operations, evaluating and selecting vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery criteria, negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers, maintaining vendor databases and procurement records, coordinating with various departments to understand procurement requirements, ensuring timely delivery of materials to avoid production delays, and monitoring market trends and pricing. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills, analytical abilities, and experience in industrial procurement.
